Our training is highly participative and practical. It includes sharing current practice, input about developments, tools to help reflect on our work, practical case studies, videos, evidence based strategies and discussion. Where possible, training includes gap tasks.

It is aimed at school staff including senior leadership, teaching staff, family workers and parent governors.

We also run staff INSET sessions on a range of topics from class meetings to running the Playclub Project.

All our open courses are currently held in Manchester.

We are able to provide training to schools and organisations who cannot attend the classroom-based delivery.

We have run training for schools in Hull, Derbyshire and Wales, and are currently training schools in Suffolk as part of the Developing Partnerships with Parents funded project.

We are currently trialling web-based training for our KS2 Family Detective Reading Project, Developing a Volunteer Programme and Mouse Club Transition Project courses.
