PEN is a not-for-profit CIC working to build learning relationships between the school and home. Our work supports the development of a whole-school approach to parental engagement in education to ensure the inclusion of families experiencing disadvantage, inequality or lack of equity.
PEN's Value Statements
We make time to listen to every voice. We hear what is said, and, respecting the challenges and opinions of others, we act on it.
Learning is a continuous journey. Everyone has the capacity to learn and to teach. Together, we can share knowledge and grow.
We are open and accepting of others. We care about who we work with and see everyone as having equal value.
We collaborate with people who have similar goals to ours. We connect voices that might otherwise not hear each other.
We are passionate about what we do, going the extra mile to achieve our aims and make our customers happy.
A future where school staff work in partnership with parents to deliver a high-quality education for every child.
We help schools and settings to engage families with their child’s learning and development.
